Inter House Hindi Play Competition was held in the Cultural Hall... of the school on 6th Oct. 2017, where students of different houses showed their talent through the Play. There are 4 hindi play on same day. Spectator were present in the Cultural hall to encouraged the participants and praised their talent. All the participants participated very enthusiastically. ETERNIA-2017 was inaugurated on 05 October, 2017 by Brig. Amit Mukharjee. After they declared the fest open, there began a... series of events at various venues- Debate, Drawing, Science and Commerce quiz, Fancy Dress, Dance and other events in the primary section too. It was a day of hectic activity and a chaotic order with the whole school caught in the grip of excitement. All the participants took parts in the events with great cultural spirit and promised for a great and successful event. |

A Special Assembly was conducted in the school on Gandhi Jayanti. The students of class 8th had organized a wonderful... programme depicting the life of Gandhiji on the occasion of 'Gandhi Jayanti'. Students of schools enthusiastically took part in the Gandhi Jayanti event celebrations. Students sang a song based on the truth and non violence message of Bapu. Rev. Fr. Paul Thannickal (Principal) garlanded the portrait of Gandhiji. Senior Students presented a small play based on “Save Water”. At last Fr. Principal gave a speech. In his speech he spoke about morals of Mahatama Gandhi. |

| DLA INTER SCHOOL ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION-2017 |
The Dorilal Agarwal (DLA) Memorial Inter- School English Debate was organised on 23rd September, 2017 in the premises of St.Peter’s... College. The heat of the discussion was ‘Is Banishing Chinese goods in India’s Interest ?’ Around 8 eminent school of the city participated in it . It was a fierce competition as all the debaters were determined to give their best. Out of all the schools, the students of our college emerged victorious from both the motions. Garvit Kumar, speaking ‘for the motion’ and Shivam Tiwari speaking ‘against the motion’ bagged the first prize. The Best speaker or also more popularly known as’ Voice of the youth’ award was awarded to Garvit Kumar (current Prime Minister of Student’s Parliament). Our college were declared the overall champions of the debate and both of them were awarded a cash prize of Rs.1500/-.The students were trained by Dr. Mrs. Neelam Mehrotra. |

| SMT. SAROJ DEVI ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION-2017 |
The Saroj Devi memorial Inter-School English debate was organised on 22nd September , 2017 in the premises of St.Petr’s College.... The heat of the discussion was ‘News today is high on sensationalism and low on substance’. Around 6 eminent school of the city participated in it. It was a tough competition as all the debaters battled it out to give their best. Out of all the schools, the students of our college emerged the first runner ups from both the motions, Shlok Tandon, speaking ‘for the motion’ and Ronak Dhawan speaking ‘against the motion’ bagged the second prize. Arushi Gulati and Manas Tewari from St.Paul’s college won the first positions in their repective motions. The best speaker award was shared by Arushi Gulati and Manas tewari. Our College were declared the first runner ups of the debate and St.Pauls’ emerged as the champions. The students were trained by Mrs. Geetika Paliwal. |

| ASISC SWIMMING COMPETITION-2017 |
On 16th & 17th September , 2017 the ASISC State level Aquatic Championship was held in the School premises of... St.Peter’s College. 23 Schools of the whole state participated in the event. Our college also participated and won several prizes. In the Junior category Mradhu wardhan Sharma bagged one silver and one Gold. Our Junior relay team stood 2rd on the podium. In the Senior category Vikramank Gupta won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. Nihkarsh Doneria also stood on the podium with 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal. These students ( Vikramank Gupta, Nishkarsh Doneria, Mradhu wardhan Sharma) will now represent UP & UK at National level Aquatic Championship to be held at Valsad, Gujarat on 30th Sep and 1st Oct, 2017. Investiture Ceremony 2017-18 (Primary Section) held on 1st August 2017 with great zeal and excitement. The programme started with lightening... of lamp and prayer our very own headmistress Rev. Sr. Daisy Maria. The Chief Guest of the Ceremony was was Mrs. Deepika Tiwari I.P.S officer who appreciated the boys and motivated them with her inspiring words. The newly elected cabinet was headed by Prime Minister (Primary section) Dhruv Makhija along with his Cabinet of ministers. Our Principal Rev. Fr. Paul Thannickal and honourable Chief guest Mrs. Deepika Tiwari handed over the flags and pinned the badges of P.M. , college captain and house captains other badges were pinned by Vice- Principal, Head mistress, Co-ordinator Geeti Maheshwari along with other teachers. The oath taking ceremony was presided by our Principal followed by blessing and distribution of token of appreciation. The programme was concluded with the inspiring words from our principal Rev.Fr. Paul Thannickal and vote of thanks was given by Co-ordinator Mrs. Geeti Maheshwari. |

On, 28th July, St.Peter’s College organized Science Exhibition for the Senior Section. It was inaugurated in the morning by the... Chief Guest Mr. Gaurav Dayal (D.M.) by lighting the lamp in the presence of the Principal Rev.Fr. Paul Thannickal and vice-Principal Rev.Fr. Praveen D’costa. The Judges for the Day were Dr. C.N. Mishra (Physics, St,John’s College), Dr. Susan Varghese (Chemistry, St.John’s College) and Dr.Dinesh Lal (Biology, St.John’s College). In the Physics Section, Rover DAP installed by Devansh, Parish and Akshay and Drone Installed by Sahil, Yash and Aman were the standout exhibits. In the Chemistry Section, Defects of Crystals and Blast furnace and in Biology, Angioplasty and Blood test & Hemoglobin count test were the highlight exhibits. The programme was co-ordinate by Mr. Rakshit John, Mrs. Anshu Kathuria, Mrs. Antony and Mrs. Niyati helped in the proceedings. |
